| Description | Submitted material is intended for the first-year students of a full-time or combined master´s study programme - Primary and Secondary School Teacher Training in Physical Education, specializations Fitness Coach and Sports Education. The course is compulsory and is completed by passing an oral exam. Students learn about the history of athletics multi-event competitions ( men´s decathlon, women´s pentathlon and heptathlon), about the basic rules and scoring system of multi-event competitions. The material also provides a brief introduction of each discipline and students learn about training for specific disciplines. The final part of this material focuses on use of sports equipment and aids (Kids Athletic) during the training of children and the youth. |
