| Description | Maxillary canine impaction is a malocclusion that requires difficult and comprehensive treatment. Interdisciplinary cooperation between the orthodontist and dental surgeon is usually necessary. Recently there was an attempt to find some predisposing factors for possible impaction in patients. Based on the evidence of common embryologic origin between the sella turcica and the teeth, the incidence of sella bridge and dimensions of sella were evaluated in association with dental anomalies. |
