| Description | The paper analyzes literary legacy of Peter Clarificator, a prior of the Augustinian Canons in Roudnice nad Labem. In a broader context of his epistolography (interesting mostly because Peter was an advisor to the archbishop of Prague Jan of Jenštejn), a so far unknown letter of Peter to Michal of Prague of Carthusian order is examined. This letter, preserved in a single manuscript D LVII (from ca. 1400-1420) in the Metropolitan Chapter Library in Prague, is critically edited here. |
