| Description | The paper is focused on the presentation of urban vegetation as one of points of interest of the contemporary aesthetic theory, or rather of the environmental aesthetics. There is no doubt that parks and gardens are constitutive parts of the urban landscape. But how the aesthetic experience can be interpreted from the perspective of experience with the cultural artifactualized nature? The aim of the paper is to reveal the relationship between aesthetic and practical experience with urban vegetation which leads to the conception of aesthetic engagement as the possible answer to the question. |
