| Description | The Polish studies together with the Russian studies belong to the Slavonic fields with the longest tradition in the Czech Republic. The polonistics at the Masaryk University has been existing in various shapes since the academic year 1923/24. Despite the difficult periods in its history we have been successful in stabilization and modernization of our field in the last 25 years. |
