| Description | The aim of the paper is to highlight the selected examples of symptoms of diseases in Renaissance art. From the point of view of methodology an iconographic-iconological approach is applied. Some of the pathological diagnoses in Renaissance art are introduced to and are set in the historical-social framework. The paper was presented at the conference of the Faculty of medicine and dentistry UP Olomouc Morphology 2015 on 8th of September. |
