Description The article analyses an influence of music education of university students on their taste in music. It seeks a relevance of receptive education when working with students educated in music. A sociomusicological survey, performing rating selected examples of both artificial- and non-artificial music by academic responders, was carried out at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University in Brno, in 2014. An output from the survey is presented in breef.
