Citation
Description In the following essay, Franek uses the accounts of Dion Chrysostom and Epictetus to challenge the commonly held belief that Socrates produced no written work during his lifetime. While the two philosophers seemingly provide evidence for Socrates' literary activity, Franek concludes that both accounts are inconclusive.
