Description *The Project was aimed in development of an expression systém for preparation of lytically aktive enzyme axploitable as antimicrobial prparations for therapy and kontrol of staphylococcal infections. Gene of staphylococcal bacteriophages 812 encoding lytic enzymes will be optimized by gene engineering methods to enhance thein lytic aktivity. Two genes constructs as well as suitable expression systém for protein production was established. The fused protein containing vage species-specific peptidoglycan-binding domain SH3b was combined with catalytic domains derived from vage lytic enzyme. Obtained lytic enzymes were biochemically characterized. On both constructs was filed utility model entitled: "Fusion gene construct and endolysin" and patent entitled: "The recombinant expression plasmid coding endolytic enzyme gene construct, a host cell, fusion protein expression method". On this occasion were deposited two strains in the Czech Collection of Microorganisms under the Budapest Treaty with the date of September 1,2015 under the deposit numbers in the collections CCM8622 and CCM8623. The report is stored in Repository of MU.*
