| Description | Methamphetamine (meth) is a powerful drug that is abused for its rapid and lasting several hours stimulant effects. Dependence, potential infection when administered intravenously, damage all the qualities of health, social declass and conflicts with the law belongs to the typical risks to its consumers. Intentionally was selected and approached the sample of 3 former users addicted to methamphetamine and their parents. Using case studies, observations and semi-structured interview were sought answers on treatment options, prevention, family background, family and school collaboration and inclusion abstinent persons to life. Opinions informants to treat addiction to methamphetamine, cooperation between schools and families and family background are not uniform, the same in the case of the necessity of prevention, the need for long-term support and the ranking values of life. With addiction to methamphetamine can be successfully combated if the individual has a supportive family, support of loved ones, actively collaborates with experts. However, it must be "reprogrammed" to change his dangerous habits and behavior patterns. |
