| Description | Chronic foreign body retained in the lower airways can be a cause of severe complications. In this study, two cases of anorganic foreign body aspiration to the lower airways are re-viewed. Clinical symptoms of the condition in the respective cases were markedly diffe-rent. In the first čase, a girl suffering from psychomotor retardation developed serious infection - pulmonary abscess. In the second čase, foreign body štuek in the upper trachea of an infant imitated recurrent attacks of acute subglottic laryngitis. |
