| Description | In early 1928, the Würthle art gallery in Vienna held an exhibition at which Brno-based art lover and collector Irene Beran (1886–1979) presented 111 drawings by 25 Austrian and German (mostly contemporary) artists from her collection. The article attempts to reconstruct at least in broad outline the results of her endeavours as a collector of drawings and prints. |
