| Description | The principle of opportunity of criminal prosecution is typical mainly for countries influenced by an angloamerican legal culture. However, (not only) in last decades, it inspires also many legal regulations of the continental Europe led originally by the principle of legality of criminal prosecution (including the Czech criminal proceedings) due to its undoubtable benefits. The author of submitted contribution has an ambition to outline a bit different view on the principle of opportunity than is usually presented (not only) in the Czech criminal law doctrine, as well as her attitude to the possibilities of its application in the Czech criminal law environment. |
