| Description | The paper deals with the definition of the status of self-defence as assigned physical activity in the scientific field of kinesiology, theory of combatives and crime prevention from the victimology point of view. Theoretical analysis of the problem based on existing theoretical knowledge, but also from empirical experience in teaching self-defence in the fields of study Special Education of Security Bodies (Bc.) And Applied Sports Education of Security Bodies (MSc.) At the Faculty of Sports Studies and teaching self-defence for high schools. The result of the analysis is describtion of self-defence as an academic discipline grounded in the fields of sciences kinesiology, criminology and victimology. |
