| Description | Developing intercultural communicative competence at basic school represents a challenge for foreign language teachers as well as for researchers. This chapter introduces research outcomes of the first phase of the research which deals with manifestations of intercultural communicative competence development in writing in ELT at basic school. Theoretical background of the research and methodology are summarized here, the main attention is nevertheless paid to the initial phase of the research and its outcomes. |
