Description Working conditions in the area of education, in many aspects, are similar to working conditions of employees in other areas. Nevertheless, there are moments when particular aspects of work of employees in the area of education need to be taken into consideration bearing in mind the specific agenda of schools, both private and public whose expenses are covered by public sources. These aspects that differentiate employees in the field of education from any other employees are e.g. holiday allowance, working hours, remuneration, etc. The working conditions can differ in public schools sector (salary) and in private schools sector (wages). Finances represent a very important aspect playing a substantial role in creating a good and incentive working environment. Financial agenda, i.e. financial sources, salaries, and other benefits, seem to be the most important element of working conditions in the area of education. The state ensures the right to education mostly through public schools, therefore, financial and budget aspects are of crucial importance. Making work in the area of education more attractive for (prospective) employees and providing further benefits would not be conceivable without sufficient financial sources. Given a long-term limited budget in education, remuneration appears to play an essential part in the working conditions of employees in education.
