| Description | The paper presents some optical aids used to compensate for visual impairment and visual impairment. The paper presents the results of the research based on the assumption that refractive error correction according to objective measurement may not be ideal for eliminating visual impairment. The research survey focused on the extent to which refractive defects are corrected and which correction aids are most commonly used. In the first phase of the larger research, whose outputs present this paper, we focused on finding the average size of the refractive defect in 615 individuals and comparing the results with the ideal correction using optical aids verified by subjective measurement. The result of the survey is that it is necessary to take into account the individual perception of the correction aid force from the viewpoint of the investigated. |
