| Description | Performed experiments showed the subsequent cells treatment by Cu (II) and wedelolactone can significantly enhance the wedelolactone cytotoxicity. Considerable cytotoxicity increment was observed for cells with transfected hCtr1 gene. On the other hand, the simultaneous cells treatment led to reduction of wedelolactone cytotoxicty. This effect can be caused by Cu (II)-wed complex inability to penetrate through the cytoplasmic cell membrane. |
