| Description | Necrobiosis lipoidica (NL) is a chronic disease affecting the skin. Typical manifestations of NL are atrophic skin deposits, usually yellowish-brown, predilection localization is the ventral surface of the legs. Frequent is association of NL with diabetes mellitus. Sometimes it is reported that the manifestation of NL is a warning sign of the development of diabetic nephro-/retinopathy. |
