Citation
Description The encyclopaedic passage describes the agreement between the Czechs and the Germans seeking a compromise solution between the demands of the Czechs on the autonomy of the Czech nation within the Austro-Hungarian monarchy and the demands of the Germans to preserve the old order. The Punktation would in fact mean the failure of the Czechs in the fight for the Czech-Austrian settlement, and although they were accepted, they were fortunately not implemented in practice.
