| Description | One of the instruments to support effective measures to reduce recidivism is, inter alia, to consider the realisation of an open prison pilot project, according to the Penitentiary Concept by 2025. The realisation of the project took place in the fall of 2017, namely at Jiřice Prison. In connection with the inclusion of open prisons in the Czech prison environment, the Czech Republic has been inspired abroad, for example in Norway. For this reason, the article will be devoted to a short description of selected open prisons in Norway and, consequently, to the first open prison in the Czech Republic. |
