| Description | Presentation of results of the analysis of 40 different printed newspaper weather forecasting maps, representing six Czech daily news periodicals. The classification focused both on the character of localizing background layer of analysed maps and on the meteorological thematic layer. The results present eight types of background localizing maps and six types of used presentations of meteorological forecast information. Cartographical quality of maps, aesthetic design or position in the newspapers were the subject of interest as well. |
