| Description | This synoptic text summarize the convergent and divergent properties of the Penal codes of Portugal and Brazil since the syntactic, semantic and, partly, also, lexical points of view. As regards the level of syntax, the aim is to check the internal properties of the hypotactic constructions in the completive, relative and circumstantial clauses. The semantic aspect is associated with the problem of formulation of the modal epistemic and non-epistemic bases, the true and not true valeur, the real and hypothetical propositions, and still others. The lexical part includes the lexicological comparison from the point of view of the modal base of the antecedent. |
