Description The aim of this study was to determine the volume of mechanical loading of gymnasts and to determine the active training time of gymnasts on individual disciplines. To express the number of mechanical volumes, were selected representative elements for each discipline, containing a hand or foot impact. The average number of training impacts of the upper limbs R = 81 and the lower limbs N = 29. The active training time of the gymnast during the training was 7 minutes and 21 seconds. The ratio of active training time spent during vaulting, gymnastic rings, floor, high bar, pommel horse and parallel bars was 1: 10: 10: 19: 25: 35. The results of the study can thus serve to outline the relevance of the individual elements, given the intensity and number of repetitions, for recording the mechanical loading.
