| Description | Curators Lenka Klodová and Martin Maryška invited to participate at the exhibition in Istanbul and Izmir, Turkey, four artists' collectives from Szczecin (Poland), Brno (Czechia), Bratislava (Slovakia), and Budapest (Hungary) who were challenged to tackle the theme of body and soul in their curated selections. Artistic strategies of the young visual artists are confronted with the action art by featured Hungarian artist János Szirtes, that arches the link over body art as a time-related terminus with new fluid perspectives on body of the younger generation of artists who are still being shaped in a creative training at Central European art academies, thus the exhibition gives a fleeting glimpse of their educational visions and methods. |
