| Description | This article deals with the institute of assessors in Czech criminal proceedings. I am concerned about suitability of this lay element considering the recent ideas of its restriction. I am using my personal experience as criminal judge´s assistant at Regional Court so the assessors are present here at every case we work on. In this article I point out several problems and questions associated with the institute of assessors. |
