| Description | In the first part of the presentation, examples of the application of corpus linguistics methodology in teaching medical terminology was demonstrated. Specifically, it was a guide how to build an electronic corpus for the purpose of word-form analysis (using Excel) and how to observe the context of specific terms (using the Sketch Engine corpus manager). The second part focused on practical demonstrations of using Socrative as an effective tool for activating students when working with authentic medical records. |
