Description The relationship between literature and theatre is given by the basic means used by both artistic disciplines to communicate with the reader and the audience. Literature speaks through the presented text, the theatre transforms this text into utterances. Working with a literature as a starting point in theatrical creation with a children's theatre group represents an area that is subject to specific demands and needs. Literature becomes a means that transforms and forms into a different language of theatre. The paper deals with the specifics of working with a literary pattern in creating a theatre production with a children's theatre group.
