| Description | Motivation plays a pivotal role in success in language learning. A guaranteed way of piquing the interest of undergraduate ESP students is to use real-life examples of how ‘someone like them’ excelled in their professional life. This article presents two original, purpose-made tasks based on authentic materials featuring accomplished graduates. The tasks are designed to practise both language and soft skills, e.g. mediation. |
