| Description | This article deals with the topic of conflict of interest between representative and principal in civil law on the most general level. It offers a broad comparative survey of various models of conflict of interest regulation in the agency law of a number of European jurisdictions. Subsequently it places the rule contained in § 437 of the Czech Civil Code into thus developed context. Against this backdrop it also comments upon the case law of Czech supreme courts which relates to the questions at hand. |
