| Description | In the title compound, C4H12N22+center dot 2C(6)H(3)N(2)O(4)(-)center dot 2H(2)O or (1,4-dacH(2))(pyzdcH) (2)center dot 2H(2)O, the complete dication is generated by crystallographic inversion symmetry. An intramolecular O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond occurs in the anion. In the crystal, O-H center dot center dot center dot O, O-H center dot center dot center dot N, N-H center dot center dot center dot O and N-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bonds result in the formation of a three-dimensional network. Additionally, pi-pi stacking interactions between the pyrazine rings with centroid-centroid distances of 3.7065 (2) angstrom are observed. |
