| Description | This paper aims to present the meat and plant diet of the inhabitants of an aristocratic residence, based on archaeological finds at the castle at Veselí nad Moravou. Two groups of findings are presented – one from the second half of the 13th century, the second from the start of the 17th century. The two groups allow for a view of the diet and foodstuffs of an aristocratic residence, and it is possible to observe the food and dietary habits associated with the upper social classes. |
