Description The text is based on the contributions which were presented at our Congress in 2017-2019 focusing on issues of the fight against terrorism, the migration crisis and related phenomenon of Islamophobia and its impact on the mood in society as well as crime, not only in the Czech Republic. Even this year, our contribution will not be an exception. We will focus our attention on a case that far exceeds those mentioned cases in earlier contributions by its seriousness. It is a case of former Prague imam Samir Shehadeh, his brother and sister-in-law, who were charged in November 2019 for criminal offence of supporting and financing terrorism. The heart of the contribution will be a detailed analysis of this case, which, with its counter-beliefs and radical views, divided not only the Muslim community in the Czech Republic. Related issues such as e.g. radicalization of society, jihad, and psychopathology of terrorists will be mentioned too.
