| Description | Surgical therapy of a III. and IV. stage pressure sores remains a challenging procedure for a patient. In a comparison with other surgical diagnoses, we usually experience higher level of postoperative complications associated with a pressure ulcer surgery repair. The aim of this study is to refer a comprehensive overview of preoperative evaluation with emphasis on correction of general condition and nutritional status Our goal is to reduce a risk of serious postoperative complications, that may interfere with patient's quality of life as well as impact on socioeconomical aspects of healthcare. |
