| Description | The paper describes two experiments in which a system combining elastic and inertial mass moves in free fall. The described experiments represent two extreme situations: -1) elastic mass is negligible, 2) all falling mass is elastic. In both cases, these are impressive experiments, the physical analysis of which can be performed at a certain level in high school. Theoretical considerations are supplemented by an analysis of video recordings taken by a high-speed camera. |
