| Description | In the Pisárky forest park, near the center of Brno, we found ticks that were 7.2 percent positive for Borrelia burgdorferi s.l., the cause of Lyme borreliosis, and 2.8 percent positive for Anaplasma phygocytophyllum causing anaplasmosis. Up to 60 ticks can be collected at this site in one hour of flagging. This is a risk for people living in this agglomeration and you need to be careful. |
