| Description | On September 14, a seminar was held primarily for landowners, local government representatives and local residents. The program of the morning section consisted of presentations on coppice management. The members of the project team presented the way of this management and the invited experts experience with the renewal of coppice management in various localities of the republic. The presentations were followed by a moderated group discussion focused on the possibilities of restoring and establishing coppices in the Czech Republic and related barriers. The afternoon part of the program consisted of a practical excursion to show examples of coppice management, which took place at the School Forest Enterprise of Mendel University under the leadership of a forest manager. 38 candidates registered for the seminar and in the end 35 people took part. |
