Description The lung tissue of 431 small wild mammals of 15 species, caught in the Žďárské vrchy" Landscape Protection Area between 1988 and 1992, was examined for adiaspores of Emmonsia crescens var. parva (Emmons et Jellison) van Oorschot. The overall prevalence of the mycosis was relatively low (4.4 %) and it varied according to mammalian species. Rodent adiasporomycosis was most prevalent in the spring (12 %) while it was frequent in the autumn (2 %).
