Description The article deals with the historical development of the phenomenon of the Czech and later also Slovak meetings of lawyers in the first half of the 20th century in the territory of Czech lands. In addition, the article will focus on the significations that vary somewhat across meetings of lawyers concerning the state, lay and professional society. Finally, the article reminds the renewed Congress of Czech Lawyers in the Czech Republic this year’s May in the scope of former meetings in the first half of the last century.
