Description The urgent need of decontamination of devices, person, or affected sources in CBRN event is usually accompanied by usage of large volume of decontamination agent at places of limited availability of sources. Our contribution will present CaviPlasma technology generating highly biocidal/dissociative liquid environment based on peroxide chemistry by electric discharge in cavitation cloud in liquid (water). Owing to its high robustness, volumetric flow rate in order of m3/h, low energy demands (? 1 kWh/m3), high yield (? 9,5 gH2O2/kWh) and dependence only on electricity and water supply, the CaviPlasma is a promising candidate for the development of robust decontamination/biocidal unit easily operable by the IRS/army units on-site. Efficacy of the technology will be presented on case-studies of Cyano HABs or algae water decontamination, or elimination of pathogens collected from hospital environment surfaces.
