| Description | In countries across the continents of the contemporary world, the topic of employee protection is being debated. In the Czech legal environment, however, a sub-plane of this debate has so far been fundamentally overlooked, consisting in the consideration of helping employees to better realise their subjective rights. The book first places the topic in the context of the key ideas of labour law, in the context of its philosophical foundations, presents in detail the problem of insufficient realisation of employees' rights, and offers a conceptual solution to the situation by introducing a new basic principle of labour relations – the principle of enhanced implementation of employees' rights. It also presents specific sub-instruments stemming from this principle, in particular the institution of the employment ombudsman and instruments from the field of (labour) procedural law. |
