| Description | This article analyses EU proposals, the AI Act and the AI Liability Directive. The liability for autonomous vehicles is often used as a challenging use case for AI regulation. However, the AIA applies only to some road traffic elements, such as traffic management safety compo-nents. The AI Liability Directive significantly impacts civil liability concerning f.e. services and infrastructure but has restrictions regarding its application on transportation liability. The article says which provisions apply to which elements of road traffic and how. |
