Description The knowledge base is a set of knowledge, information and data that contains knowledge from a given area obtained based on a search of data sources of expert knowledge in the field of industrial property, information provided on the web presentation of the ÚPV (only relevant parts), processed process maps of the ÚPV (only relevant parts) and the processed catalog of services (relevant part related to the agenda falling under the ÚPV). The knowledge base needs to be kept up-to-date, that is, in such a state that the information extracted from it reflects the content of the valid documents from which the knowledge base was created. For the maintenance and management of the knowledge base over time, the Process of maintenance and management of the knowledge base over time (hereinafter referred to as the maintenance process) is proposed, which is divided into three levels. 1. Identification of the need to change and maintain the knowledge base. 2. Updating the content of the affected parts (processed knowledge) for the knowledge base. 3. Updating the knowledge base.
