Description The digitalisation is transforming all aspects of modern society; it also brings new models and services to urban mobility. Mobility as a service represents such new services based on shared mobility enabled by data driven coordination and optimisation. The new regulatory frameworks on data governance implementing the EU strategy for the digital transformation are currently in final stages of adoption. In our contribution, we seek to provide a timely reflection of the opportunities and limits that are to be set by these legislative acts on the future of mobility as a service in the EU.
