| Description | The text discusses the material culture of the Slavs in the period from the beginning of the 9th to the middle of the 10th century. The text mainly deals with finds from Moravian localities, partly also from Slovak localities. It focuses on a basic overview in the areas of subsistence, construction, clothing, pottery production, production of metal objects and jewellery, as well as aspects of the funerary culture of the Slavs. The goal is to provide a basic idea of what the material culture and living conditions of ordinary people looked like in the Great Moravian period. |
