Description Psychotherapy has been developing for many decades and new, empirically based treatments continue to emerge. Despite these advancements, however, the effectiveness of psychotherapy does not appear to have increased. One possible reason for this is the lack of immediate feedback that would allow psychotherapists to catch various difficulties in the therapeutic process early enough and to respond appropriately. In response to this, especially in Western countries, tools are being developed to monitor clients' progress in treatment and provide immediate feedback to therapists. In the Czech Republic, the DeePsy application is being developed for this purpose - a non-commercial project whose mission is to provide psychotherapists with support in their practice and, at the same time, to obtain researchable data on Czech psychotherapy. The aim of this paper is to present the principles underlying the DeePsy application, its current status and future directions.
