Description Many strategic documents, for example, Strategy for the Education 2030+, pay attention to the issue of Matura as an exit exam. However, the data shows a neglected trend (Cermat, 2022) that a student’s failure at the Matura exam leads to another failure at other attempts. This trend relates to leaving secondary education. The contribution aims to present individual and social aspects that influence and transform an individual’s approach to passing the exam in the entire process.
