| Description | The collection of stove tiles from Veselí nad Moravou includes the fragments of pottery and chamber tiles from the end of the 15th century. While the cornice and plinth specimens, with one exception, rank among the standard production, the extender tiles are unusual with the heraldic motifs used with copy strips and technological details. Analogies to them are found in nearby Uherské Hradiště and the castle Cimburk near Koryčany. In addition to the usual iconographic analyses, micro petrographic and chemical analyses contributed to the evaluation of the finds, as well as methods using 3D documentation to compare the details of the relief decoration. |
