• Description: The article briefly describes the almost development of the evaluation system of the European Schools as part of the cyclical process of formative assessment of pupils. It compares its development, function and use with the output of the project Development and Implementation of a Pilot School Report Card Design: Innovating the Final Assessment of Primary School Pupils in Relation to Comprehensive Developmental Assessment, supported by TAČR (TL: 05000360; hereafter referred to as the JINAK Report Card), which aims to innovate the final assessment of primary school pupils in relation to comprehensive developmental assessment in the Czech Republic.
