The aim is to create and pilot a comprehensive concept of assessment of the processes and results of pupils' learning in basic education, which would meet the current challenges related to the interconnection of formative and summative assessment. The outcomes will be a) a pilot design of end-term certificate for primary and lower secondary schools; b)a summary research report with the introduction of interconnection both formative and su mmative assessment in practice; c) workshop focused on the possibilities and regularities of using a pilot design of end-term certificates; and e) a popularization text. We combine knowledge and experience from the educational process, knowledge from the fields of pedagogy and psychology, and sociology knowledge about the transfer of innovations into ed.
